Marrakech

Highlights

Getting culture shocked upon arrival
Dodging motorcycles, donkeys, carts, kitties, (dead) goats, camels and crowds in the maze of the Medina streets
Perousing the many authentic (and non) shops of the Jamaa el Fna market
Watching snake charmers (Simon keeping his distance)
Tasting the best juices and falling in love with with Moroccan mint tea
Trying the delicious food and spices, while trying to dodge the aftermath
Trying not to get ripped off everywhere and anywhere - practicing bargaining skills
Going for Moroccan hammam (body scrub) and massage -1/3 of the Canadian price
Touring the little towns in the Atlas Mountains and hiking to The Ouzoud falls
Seeking shade and refuge from the crowds in Yves St Laurent's jardin Majorelle
Crossing sketchy wooden bridges
The smells...the good (spices and herbs), the bad (the garbage) and the ugly (I won't go there)
